All class teachers have responsibility for aspects of the curriculum and are also on a school Leadership Team. Every child in the school is in one of our eight Leadership Teams. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our teams are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Eco Award (7th) &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Robb<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Equity\/Pupil Council<\/span> &#8211; <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Gardiner<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Respect Me &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Barber<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Reading Schools Silver Award &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Murray<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rights Real<\/span> &#8211; \u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Speirs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Road Safety<\/span> &#8211; <\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Miss Church<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sport Scotland Gold Award &#8211; <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mrs Gardiner<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By taking on a leadership role we are ensuring that staff and pupils have an opportunity to contribute to the decision making in the school. Our leadership team meetings are held monthly with feedback being given to the wider school at our assemblies and minutes added to our Leadership Teams noticeboard .<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is further developed by our children taking part in monthly Chit Chat groups where they provide their opinions and ideas on aspects of school development and planning.\u00a0 We have been using the document How Good is OUR School and School Improvement Plan as the basis of our discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Dalserf Primary School we promote a leadership culture whereby both staff and children feel able and confident to take lead roles within and beyond the classroom.
